BAPP is a local voluntary organisation and Registered Charity. We promote and facilitate opportunities for children and young people to play and participate in positive activities. BAPP recognises and promotes the importance of self-directed play in relation to child development and the rights of children and young people.

During the Summer holidays, we are looking for playworkers to work outside in parks facilitating a range of play opportunities with children aged 5 – 13 years and their families across the Bath area.

VACANCY: Bath Area Play Project Play Services Manager.

37 hours per week: SCP 27-30 £23,698 - £26,293 dependent upon qualifications and experience

Degree educated and have a NVQ level 3 or Diploma in playwork              

                qualification.

                This is a new 12-month post which we are seeking funding to continue beyond                 these timescales. If you are energetic and committed to delivering outstanding                 play and support opportunities to school-age children and are passionate

Support BAPP at Your Local Supermarkets. Bapp are thankful to the staff of the Co-operative stores in Foxhill and Combe Down who have nominated us as their Local Charity. We will receive a percentage of takings over the sponsorship period. We will also be one of the Charities for the green tokens in                  Waitrose for the Month of July. Don't foget to pick up your token if you are                      shoppping in town.  Thank you for your support. 

5-a-Side Court to be Resurfaced. Thanks to all who voted for us in the recent Tesco Bags of Help local grant scheme. We now have been awarded £8,000 to have a new surface on our popular 5-a-side court at Odd Down Community Centre. We are currently looking at quotes and work will start soon.

The Sensory Room at the Hut in Twerton is Being Refurbished. Thanks to generous donations from Wooden Spoon, the Children's Rugby Charity, (£6,500) and Bath Rotary Club (£1,000), work has started to create a new and exciting environment for sensory play at The Hut. Watch this space for details                    of the opening soon!
