BAPP is a local voluntary organisation and Registered Charity. We promote and facilitate opportunities for children and young people to play and participate in positive activities. BAPP recognises and promotes the importance of self-directed play in relation to child development and the rights of children and young people.
SOFA18 is here!!
Young people have been working hard with Ella to put together an exciting programme of activities for disabled and non-disabled young people age 12+ years. New for 2018, Dragon Boat Racing and Dirt Scooting. All young people are welcome to take part and if you have used SOFA before, the programme will be sent out next week in the post or by email. We will also be sending out to every Secondary School in B&NES and Youth groups.

Bath Area Play Project are looking for a warm and friendly early years practitioner to join their team as Maternity Cover from September 2018. You should have experience of working with children from birth to school age, preferably hold a relevant qualification but willing to undertake training where needed, The job requires an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and two satisfactory references.

Outdoor Play - Community Play Rangers
Thanks to funding from Quartet Community Foundation and Curo, Community Play Rangers will be running again in Foxhill.
Come and meet Ollie and Kev who will be facilitating an exciting range of play opportunities after school on Mondays 4–6pm in Springfield Park. Star Project of the Month – Family Play & Support Service
Bath Area Play Project are working in partnership with Southside delivering the early help Family Support & Play Service covering the whole of Bath & North East Somerset.
The service provides targeted support and early help to vulnerable families with children aged 5-19yrs. It works alongside Children’s Centre services and Connecting Families to deliver a co-ordinated early help offer to families.
