BAPP is a local voluntary organisation and Registered Charity. We promote and facilitate opportunities for children and young people to play and participate in positive activities. BAPP recognises and promotes the importance of self-directed play in relation to child development and the rights of children and young people.

We currently have the following vacancies for new staff to join existing teams. We offer a great experience, making a
real difference to children and families across the Bath area. Experience is more important than qualifications however we do wish to recruit staff with appropriate training. All positions require an
enhanced DBS check and 2 references. Where you are looking to gain experience please consider doing some voluntary work with us
▶ Community play support worker 20 hrs wk working Tues, Weds and Thurs, year round, supporting children and families in nurture groups in schools and in family play hubs.
▶ Crèche worker working Tuesday and Friday mornings term time only
▶ Lunchtime play worker working Mon - Fri term time only in a Bath primary school working with children 5-11 yrs. It is possible to combine this role with Community Play Support Worker role
▶ Summer holidays Playworkers and Youth workers working with disabled and non disabled children age 5-19 yrs on holiday play schemes 25th of July to the 17th of August.
▶ Community Playworkers working on our summer playday programme, 15 to 20 hours a week, Monday to Thursday usually 3 days per week.

Outdoor Play - Community Play Rangers
Thanks to funding from Quartet Community Foundation and Curo, Community Play Rangers will be running again in Foxhill.
Come and meet Ollie and Kev who will be facilitating an exciting range of play opportunities after school on Mondays 4–6pm in Springfield Park.
