BAPP is a local voluntary organisation and Registered Charity. We promote and facilitate opportunities for children and young people to play and participate in positive activities. BAPP recognises and promotes the importance of self-directed play in relation to child development and the rights of children and young people.

SOFA Trip to PGL. We have been having a number of calls for more details of the PGL Swindon residential in July. The £20 fee covers the cost of one night and all meals for the trip, which will be either Fri 22 - Sat 23 OR Sat 23 - Sun 24 July. You are welcome to request 2 nights (£40) but may only get one. Activities: TBC but have requested quadbiking, giant swing, raft building, crate challenge, fencing & zip wire. There will be an activity in the evening, such as a disco or camp fire. 

BAPP are pleased to be supporting the B&NES Heritage Lottery bid for improvements to Sydney Gardens on the 2nd June. We will be facilitating some play opportunities with various loose parts and play opportunities in and around the Gardner’s Lodge. Please drop in and give your views about how                      you would use the park and what you would like to do there! Download Poster

5-a-Side Court to be Resurfaced. Thanks to all who voted for us in the recent Tesco Bags of Help local grant scheme. We now have been awarded £8,000 to have a new surface on our popular 5-a-side court at Odd Down Community Centre. We are currently looking at quotes and work will start soon.

The Sensory Room at the Hut in Twerton is Being Refurbished. Thanks to generous donations from Wooden Spoon, the Children's Rugby Charity, (£6,500) and Bath Rotary Club (£1,000), work has started to create a new and exciting environment for sensory play at The Hut. Watch this space for details                    of the opening soon!
