Bath Area Play Project

Paid Staff

We employ staff during school holidays and at other times of the year for short term contracts. For summer holiday work we usually advertise in the local press in the Spring depending on how many staff are returning to work for us. Once you have been successfully recruited to work for BAPP you will usually be asked whether you wish to return for the following year. Where you wish to apply for a different position, then you will have to re-apply.

We operate all recruitment through our Equal Opportunities framework and policy. All applications, whether internal or external must be submitted by a closing date on the BAPP Application Form with details of two referees. Once received forms are submitted for shortlisting to the Interview Panel who use the Person Specification for the job to decide whether you have the qualities and experience for the post.

If you are shortlisted, you will be invited for an interview. References will be considered and the best person for the job will be selected based on your application form, your references and your interview.

Where vacancies arise for other positions these will also be advertised in the local press and on this website. You cannot apply on-line. You can either ring the BAPP office or pop in and request or pick up an Application Pack for the post you are interested in. This should be completed and signed and returned to the office by the closing date. Alternatively you can download the Application Form.

You will need to contact the office for the Job Description. Either ring or email your request.
