Sessions provide playworkers with the chance to meet and network with other providers, sharing good ideas, exchanging solutions to problems and generally helping to support settings who often feel isolated.

The Play Networks are held approximately every 2 months and move around B&NES, usually with 2 in each of the Local Area Partnership areas - Bath, Keynsham/Chew Valley and Radstock/Peasedown. There is a UK wide virtual community of playworkers which is free to join and puts you in touch with other playworkers across the UK. Once a member you will receive between 100 and 200 emails each month and can choose to contribute to discussion and debate on a range of play related issues. It is also useful if you would like inspiration for something or would like to anonomously ask other playworkers their opinion about an idea that you have.
