We are looking for a freelance practitioner or team member from a local third sector organisation with relevant experience of conducting short-term research projects.
A good understanding of the needs and issues faced by third sector organisations in delivering outcomes for children and young people.
Ability to comprehend information from a variety of sources, analyse and communicate to the steering group.
Aims of the post
To undertake research, using case studies, interviews and a survey to consult third sector organisations on how they would like to be supported to work collaboratively with other agencies. Drawing conclusions and disseminating findings in a glossy publication; in the first instance to the steering group.
The post-holder will provide:
Qualitative evidence exploring the opportunities for the third sector to work together for the improved outcomes of disadvantaged children and young people across B&NES.
Ably demonstrating a greater understanding of how third sector organisations can prepare for the future through collaborative means.

You should have experience of working with children, hold a relevant qualification if possible or be willing to attend training, have a sense of humour and willingness to give anything a go!
Playwork is hard work but incredibly rewarding, enabling and encouraging children of all ages and abilities to play in different ways.
Work is from 24th July to 17/18th August either in holiday playschemes in Bath or community playdays across B&NES.
There is no closing date
We have work available at various times including Crèches for training sessions for parents, school lunchtimes and play sessions in school holidays. Hours are varied and pay is between £8 and £12 per hour.
We employ staff during school holidays and at other times of the year for short term contracts. For summer holiday work we usually advertise in the local press in the Spring depending on how many staff are returning to work for us. Once you have been successfully recruited to work for BAPP you will usually be asked whether you wish to return for the following year. Where you wish to apply for a different position, then you will have to re-apply.
We operate all recruitment through our Equal Opportunities framework and policy.
