Bath Area Play Project

Outreach Toy Library

Kerry Rowlands runs the Mobile Toy Library. She visits local venues with a whole range of toys and play equipment for children under 5.

At each session, Kerry will bring along toys that you and your child can play with together. You then have the opportunity to take home the toys that your children enjoyed playing with - all the toys and equipment can be borrowed for less than 50p and taken home.

Parents and carers often use the Library to try out toys with their children before buying them. You can borrow 2 toys per child, and keep them for up to 1 month.

Session times and locations are as follows:

The Outreach Worker taking toys to an outreach session

The Baby Clinic sessions operate throughout the year with the exception of Bank Holidays. All other groups meet term time only.

Kerry is able to bring along specifically requested toys and equipment from the main toy library. For example a parent with a toddler and an older child can have older toys brought to the Toddler group sessions to borrow.

Kerry also offers a home visit service where parents would like further support with play at home, or just are unable to get to groups but would like to offer additional toys and equipment for their child.
