Paid Staff Vacancies


We currently have the following vacancies for new staff to join existing teams. We offer a great experience, making a real difference to children and families across the Bath area. Experience is more important than qualifications however we do wish to recruit staff with appropriate training. All positions require an enhanced DBS check and 2 references:

Early Years Practitioner 21 hours/week working Monday, Tuesday and Fridays Term time only £8.74/hour


Bath Area Play Project are looking for a warm and friendly early years practitioner to join their team as Maternity Cover starting as soon as possible, by 4th March at the latest. Part time, working 3 days/week on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 8.30- 15.30, 21 hours with some flexibility for team meetings. Additional hours may be available to cover for staff holidays and illness and during some school holidays.

We require a reliable and committed practitioner who can turn their hand to anything, happy to play outdoors in all weather. muck in and have fun supporting children to learn through play. You will have experience of working with babies and pre-school children, hold an early years level 2 or 3 qualification, safeguarding and First Aid and/ or be willing to attend training.

The Hut Nursery & Pre-school is a small, term time only setting registered Good by Ofsted where children are not separated by age. We focus on learning through play, evidencing progress on the EYFS and supporting children to flourish and enjoy their learning.
