Looking to Work with Children/Young People?

We welcome applications for both paid staff and volunteers as well as Trustees at any time but our main recruitment time for the year is 2 months prior to the start of Easter and Summer holidays. Application Forms are available on the website but please contact the BAPP office for the Job Description as it is essential to use this in your application. See links to work and volunteering opportunities on side panel

As a voluntary organisation we are always seeking new and creative ways to extend our work, particularly for funding to ensure that our services can continue.

Bath Area Play Project is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and embed this into practice

All positions working within BAPP require an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and the receipt of 2 written references as part of our Safeguarding Policy. Any gaps in career history will be explored at interview and copies of formal identification as well as training certificates will be required at interview stage.

Once appointed, staff and volunteers will have an Induction detailing responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding as well as opportunity to attend Multi-agency training. Safeguarding is always discussed in Team Debrief sessions as well as supervision.

If you want to have more details about volunteering for BAPP please email our Volunteer Coordinator: Roz at

Save Summer Playdays Campaign

The Summer Play Days are a valuable resource for local families. They provide stimulating and fun outdoor play experiences that families can enjoy together. Donate here to keep these running.

We welcome donations from individuals, businesses that might want to club together to do some fundraising or perhaps you can have a collection box on your counter?

We are working very closely with a social media based platform where we have been part of a pilot project with Marks and Spencer’s to try and divert food which was previously wasted, to people and organisations that can use it. This project has now been extended UK wide and we continue to be involved using the food with children, young people and families, enabling them to taste new foods, try different healthy cooking options and have fun with food which previously would have been burnt for fuel!
